Rockidz Club is a children’s ministry that focuses on helping children grow both in their spiritual walk and their day-to-day lives. Our vision is to build a generation that loves God and chases after His heart. God has a big heart for children and desires them to come to Him. In line with that, we too desire for children to have a close relationship with God and believe that their child-like faith will help facilitate this.
We also believe that children should not just have a strong spiritual walk with God, but to also possess God-like characteristics and life skills that will help them individually. Our program aims to teach children Godly characteristics such as compassion, love, patient and kind. We ensure that our activities facilitate teamwork, socialising, self-confident and serve others.
We understand that children are already at school five days a week and it can be boring for kids to be in a classroom setting on a Sunday. That is why we aim to conduct our lessons a bit differently by not getting kids to sit and listen to us teachers for too long. We believe that children learn effectively through different mediums – stories, videos, games, skits, experiments, and explanations by teachers. We try to mix up our teaching methods each week so that it caters to the different ways each child learns.
